Back to the crunch

I need to treat this time like I did the last bit of my writing my first draft. I was so focused then!

This weekend, I need to:
1. Finish the sustainable accounting project
2. Prepare at least all of the job applications due Nov. 15 for mailing Monday am
3. Do as much as I can to finish off the work for ET.
4. Get a handle on my packing situation--figure out what is my sister's stuff, what is going to be gotten rid of, etc.
5. Buy packing materials

Still happy, but...

I really have to stop wandering around smiling and occasionally shooting off a job application. I have a shit-load of stuff I really need to get done in a very short period of time and I need to get focused or I have no hope.

Also, I will hopefully get feedback from ET on my work tomorrow....

Happy

Today, at least, I am happy. I am excited about my new job and my move, about the election, about life in general.

It has been a really long time since I have felt those little bubbles of excitement in my stomache, and it is nice to have them back. I still feel fragile, and know that tomorrow I could be back in the pit, but today is good.

We won.

The whole getting a job thing

...has consumed most of my day. Lots of negotiations with the spring job (the formal offer was made today, and all is looking good). Then trying to get off my ass and get more of the Fall 07 apps together.

Of course, refreshing TPM every two seconds to see what is going down. So far, it looks like a happy day...
