To do list check-in

I can check off #2, 3, 4ish, and the planning part of 6, and there are all sorts of things not on the original list.

I think tomorrow is going to be virtual apartment hunting, mailing the boxes that are going to my new office, cleaning and organizing stuff for the party and getting a start on the job application updates. I think that if I do all that, I will be on track, though I am not positive...

I am nearing the last real day of my time here. Quelle bizarre.

Fun stuff

Now the real fun begins:

To do:
1. Write all of my early applications to update job status and Ph.D. status.
2. Finish the mechanical details on my dissertation so I can send it to pubs.
3. Finish NCLB project (yuck)
4. Buy boxes.
5. Fill them.
6. Plan and have party
7. Look seriously at DC rentals, line up appointments
8. Greet the movers
9. Fly to DC
10. Eat pumpkin pie
11. Find an apartment
12. Get back to living life!

ET signed my dissertation. I am now officially a Ph.D.

Almost there?

I managed to finish what I think is a pretty good response to ET's comments on Friday. He said he would sign off when I did these last two things, so maybe I am almost done.
